I found no fish, but peace at Hidden Lake today. It is beautiful at this lake! The boys and I left Roosevelt around 7:30am to find this hidden gem and get some fishing in. Perfect weather while we fished this lake. I just had no luck myself catching anything. PD was able to land two cutthroat trout on the tenkara rod. Too be honest I spent most of my time just enjoying myself here and playing with Maxwell.
The boys decided it was time to move on after a while so we headed to Chepeta Lake which was just a little ways further down the fire road we were on. Wasn’t very long after we showed up here that a storm rolled past us. It forced Maxwell and I to find cover in the car. Playing with the fogged up windows passed the time away.
